Asheville Information
As part of the education service, we introduce information about the City of Asheville.  Located in WNC, Buncombe County, Asheville is 8th place of the list of cities of USA most recommended to live in.
The name of Asheville was established to honor Samuels Ashe, NC governor in 1797.
Asheville is located strategically in the map, becoming a very important way to communicate between the South and other states.  That's why it is considered a commercial city, as it was for the Native Americans long time ago.
The first immigrants to come to this area were the Scots and Irish.  During the American Civil War in 1800, the city of Asheville started to grow up.
Asheville is a very important tourist place in the West-East route of the country. Surrounded by the Pisgah Forest National Park and the Blue Ridge Parkway, the city of Asheville is visited annually by a high number of visitors to admire these natural places of recreation.
You will know why, if you have the opportunity of visiting Asheville...
